Motokars (“we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we process, why, and what your rights are.

1. Data we collect

Account: email address, name (optional) and password (stored encrypted).
Your vehicles: make, model, engine, year and VIN/license plate that you enter, as well as your favorites — linked to your account only.
Technical usage: IP address and device type, used for security, abuse prevention and the free trial limit.
Subscription: the status of your subscription, provided by Apple, Google or our payment service provider (we never see your card number).

2. Use of data

To provide and improve vehicle analyses.
To manage your account, your subscription and your free trial.
To prevent fraud and abusive account sharing.
To respond to you when you contact us.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only what is strictly necessary with: Apple / Google (payment and subscription management), our hosting provider, and our vehicle decoding providers (VIN/license plate) solely to carry out an analysis you have requested. No personal data is transmitted for advertising purposes.

4. Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request its deletion at any time; we then delete your account and the associated data.
